Had eaten here before and had a very positive experience; hence, the return. This was entirely different. Service was terrible. We had to wait awhile to even be acknowledged. Could not get drinks delivered. Bar was very backed up, evidently, but just looking for wine which should not take long. This was not an order for a specially made crafted cocktail, just wine. The glass ordered as a pre-dinner drink came in the middle of the appetizer. The glass ordered for dinner did not come until the middle of dessert. The food seemed off as well.One diner did enjoy the BBQ shrimp and grits, but the crab and mushroom cheesecake appetizer was burnt and very dry. We asked the waitress for descriptions of some items and were not at all accurate when delivered. We had to wait quite long for the check, as did the table next to us. The waitress told both tables that there was a long line for the register. You would think a busy restaurant may have a quicker check-out system. We are not picky patrons, as you can see from other reviews. Hard not to please- but this was an overall unfortunate experience.
