Was a little unsure since there is no website for this place but it was just fine. It is a nice place to stay if you are good with staying in the bedroom of someone's house. It isn't an 'inn' but actually the front bedroom. It was very clean and the the breakfast was wonderful. You have the den to yourself and the porch is relaxing. We enjoyed it very much. I would stay again.

We were given the large front bedroom of this inviting home. Room/bath was clean and very comfortable - The proprieters were friendly and conversational, and breakfast was a feast! We definately felt like relatives there for a visit. If you're looking for a nice place to stay just outside of Tupelo that isn't an impersonal hotel, we highly recommend Sachem.

This place is a gem, not far from Tupelo where we had been to Elvis' birthplace. It is also close to the Natchez Trace that we were travelling on, and near Civil War sites. Our hosts, Tom and Jeanne, have thought of everything with a very high quality mattress, bedding and the plushest towels that we found in our 5 weeks of travel. There was a sitting room where we could catch up on some TV news and we could store some food in the refrigerator. We were exhausted from a great day of travel, so we had bought some salad to go in Tupelo and ate on the back deck of Sachem as the sun went down. We shared some iced tea with our hosts before retiring for a perfectly quiet night. In the morning we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast with fresh fruit and Tom helped us clean the car windows. If you are in North Mississippi, then go and visit Tom & Jeanne at Sachem.
