We went here for lunch with the family. The food was great, location nice and service perfect. Food was quick, everything tasty. We were there on a really stormy day so could not enjoy the outdoor space or beach though.

From the location on the beach, the great variety of tasty dishes to the friendly staff and the atmospheric bar this establishment has it all and quickly became our favourite venue at Barra Beach. Casey and her team will make you feel at home with their professional, friendly service. The seafood dishes were fresh and tasty and they make the best pizzas in their wood fired oven, the fresh coconut water is a must. We were staying down the beach but will definitely stay in their superior accommodation when we next visit. They were also one of only a few establishment that have wifi so when you visit Barra, make sure you get to Neptunes, it really has everything to make your visit a truly memorable one

This restaurant is unique . It has a lovely friendly atmosphere and the seafood tastes so much better on the beach. One can watch the fishermen arrive out at sea with their triangular sailboats in the morning and see how large nets full of fish are pulled out on to the beach.
Scuba diving lessons take place in the pool at the restaurant and the ski boats take off for the nearby reef for dives,
Snorkeling trips can be booked and we did the Panzi Island trip which ends on a sandy island where one can find bucketfuls of pansy shells. The new owners of the Neptune were taking over during our visit and we wish them well.
The previous owners are now letting out beautiful wooden thatched chalets which are nearby and right on the beach. We stayed in a three bedroomed one for three nights and really enjoyed our stay.`

We had bodum filter coffee after our beach walk. The service was vey good and the coffee was good. 150 MTC. The menus look great but we did not eat because we had breakfast at our lodge.
Furniture is nice and it seems like a diving centre .
