This is a fun spot. About 90% is outdoor seating. Inside is "belly up to the bar" only. The admiral D nachos are fabulous. Plenty for 2 or 3 to share. My favorite is the coconut shrimp. Big flavorful butterflied shrimp served with 2 great sauces. Burgers are also good but that would be my third choice.

Parking is across the street - about 50 yards. The only word of caution - there is a single bathroom for women and a single for men so ladies.... don't wait!!! There's always a line.

Great spot!

Lunch with family was a good deal, huge salads (one is enough for 2), good burger, avg fish taco. Small kitchen made for a bit of a wait but the view made up for it.

This was the second time we had been there this week. The first time, the food was nicely cooked and the service was less than stellar. This time we got the same waitress. Opps!
- The blender was broken - we couldn't have a blended drink.
- The musician was AMAZING. He mimicked every musician from the 70s! Really talented.
- The bathroom floor was wet and adorned with gobs of toilet paper. Nice touch. The toilet was dirty.
- We got our drinks and one hour after we had ordered food the waitress finally came up to us to tell us that we were the next ticket up but they were "getting the hamburger." We told her we were famished and could we please at least get our fries. She told us that all the tables were full and that we needed to expect a wait for the food when all the tables are full like that. (We had not waited for the table and just wanted something to eat!) When we asked how long it would take to get the hamburger, she did not know and we had to expect they would run out of food when it was such a busy night. (No, we do not need to expect that. You had the hamburger across or down the street apparently and just did not notice you were running out. That is poor restaurant management, and NOT unreasonable expectations from the clientele!)
- Another table was seated next to us.
- The waitress came back and offered us chips instead of fries. We gleefully accepted. Anything! Who were we to argue? We were hungry when we got there! We were beyond hungry at this point.)
- The recently seated table got a basket of fries. (Huh? What? You WEREN'T out of potatoes?)
- Wait, wait
- We got chips and Velveeta cheese dip. The red wing blackbirds don't eat Velveeta either. Just saying.
- Wait wait
- Finally, more than an hour and a half after we were seated, we were served 2 pretty yummy hamburgers, 3 servings of cold and soggy/or very hard fries and a really sad limp set of tilapia tacos.
- Pretty waitress, nice smile. Please give her the great gift of losing the excuses. She hasn't been trained. Checking in with us more frequently and appropriate responses were in order and sadly missing. This is not about the waitress. This is about processes and training.
- Come for the music! DO NOT STAY FOR THE FOOD.

Enjoyed drinks, live music, and food on Father's Day and had a great time. The down side was that they shut down the kitchen for about a half hour to get ready for their sunset cruise. We weren't in a hurry, so not too big of a deal. When our food eventually came, it was ok. I had the chicken and avocado sandwich and it was pretty mediocre. Unlike some other reviewers, our server was very good. But like some other reviewers, she seemed over extended and we waited a long time for service at times. Still, we'll be back.

First time to Admiral D's, won't be the last! Great service, amazing story. The owner took time to meet us, great guy. Bar food was fine, drinks were consistent and the entertainment was appreciated. Don't be fooled, this spot is fun and you will have a good time. This will be a regular stop all summer!!!
