We stayed one night during the week for a quick get away. I really liked the quiet location, host and our suite. We wanted to stay in a room that had a fireplace and a TV at an affordable price which lead us to choose Cover Park Manor. Also, we really enjoyed Tara's Hideaway restaurant which is close by. Finally, having breakfast brought to your room was nice for private dining.

Thank you so much for staying with us! We treasure our secluded , quiet location with walking trails right out our door, yet only a little over a mile to the Historic Mainstreet of Stillwater! Hope to see you again soon!

Seamless escape with wine and cheese waiting upon arrival; superb breakfast magically appears outside your door in the morning. Downtown Stillwater with multiple dinner options is minutes away, then back home for a couple's hot tub. We used to use the Manor for winter weekends when we were working in the Twin Cities, now we've decided it'll be an annual summer visit.

Room Tip: We prefer the second floor rooms.

We just got back from a wonderful weekend at the Cove. We arrived somewhat late on Friday and had a wine and cheese basket waiting for us on arrival. The wine was wonderful as well the cheese and fruit. We stayed in the Erin Mae room and it was nicely decorated in a Victorian style which my wife absolutely loved. The private patio is a great bonus, very private. The location is great because its off the beaten path yet still close to the river and the downtown area. We were greeted the next morning with a coffee & juice basket at around 8am. Around 9am we had a basket that had our breakfast in it. The breakfasts were an absolute treat and quite decadent by most standards.....delicious. Overall our stay was very quiet and relaxing.

Room Tip: Erin Mae Room is Great, Private Patio is Nice!!!

I love bed and breakfasts! I think they are so fun, cozy and usually yummy and this one did not disappoint! The cheese and champagne upon entering the room was a nice little "welcome", the room was cozy, the bed was super comfortable, the 2 person whirlpool tub was relaxing, the fireplace heated up the room and the deck was nice. It was so quiet! We did not hear any other quests or the owner walking or talking at all!! The main reason I chose this B&B was that they bring the breakfast to you! You don't have to get out of bed, except to go to the doer to pick up the food they drop off, and don't even have to put pants on!! We are late sleepers so the 9:00 breakfast was perfect for us. Also, it was amazing food!!
A lot of reviews have mentioned the house being old and falling apart. Yes, the house is old and some cracks in the wall but honestly, it just added character to the house. If you want somewhere brand spankin' new and top of the line, this is not the place for you. But if you like the character of an older house, this place has it!

The check-in experience was super easy and quick. We had the Erin Mae room, which was cute with it's screened in porch and double jet bath. The bath was great! We had a delicious breakfast in the screened-in porch this morning. The only part that we didn't care for was the fact that there wasn't a door to the bathroom. Also wish that it had wifi. I understand that it's most likely a getaway for couples so most might not want it, but we're traveling from Guatemala and would've appreciated having it.
