Did a spur of the moment trip up to Minnesota and chose Stillwater as our destination. Found this lovely B&B online and we were thrilled with our stay. The home has been beautifully restored and it is immaculate throughout. We stayed in the Ann & Albert Room on the second floor and loved it. It was quite large and the bathroom was spacious as well. The owners are just delightful and make the experience even better. A lot to do in the town and will be back for more adventures!

This B and B is superior in its hosting and accommodations. The craftsmanship in this Victorian mansion is superior to anywhere we have ever been. The thoughtfulness that has gone into every detail of this home is stunning. Every picture and piece is relevant to the home, you feel like you’re going into a Time Machine! I brought my teenage daughter for her first B and B experience and some mother daughter time. She was ecstatic to have a delicious iced mocha during breakfast and a slushy drink at night! We did breakfast in the dining room, even though you had the option of having breakfast sent to your room, and my daughter and I had a blast getting to know the other guests! There are snacks and coffee available all day and the hosts went above and beyond with offering water after hiking the streets in 90° heat and my daughter needing aloe vera for her sunburn! My daughter did not want to leave!!!! After spending years experiencing different B&Bs, I told her she will not have the same outstanding experiences at other B&B compared to this, we are looking forward to a winter break and the tower room when we return!

We spent the first few nights of our honeymoon in the Tower Suite at the Ann Bean Mansion. While looking, we specifically wanted somewhere that would be comfortable, within walking distance of the main strip, and somewhere quiet and private for when we wanted to get away. We got all this and more as we were met with tantalizing breakfasts and hosts that were accommodating and extremely kind. We will definitely recommend the Ann Bean to anyone who wishes to vacation in Stillwater.

This Bed and Breakfast is truly one of our very favorites! The hosts, Jeremy and Erin are gracious and always go out of their way to make you feel more than welcome. This visit was more of the same, delicious breakfast, a beautiful place to relax, and attention to every little detail. We will return again and again!

The owners were at the hospital for the birth of their child, but Maureen welcomed us and handled everything like a pro. After showing us to our rooms we were offered a locally crafted beer or wine. Nice touch! Coffee, homemade cookies and other snacks were available too.
Although the mansion is very old, it is clean, well maintained and renovated in keeping with the style of the era it was built. The bed was comfortable, linens were luxurious and breakfast was a killer. Dessert for breakfast? Yes, please!
We stayed in the Tower Room, a fun place to have coffee while gazing out at tree tops.
