This is a basic motel. Facilities all there including laundry. Rooms furnished like students flat. Comfortable enough but it is basic. It is run on a mom's and pops way. Nearby, a short away, there are many interesting restaurants.

The Jasper has a distinct retro feel with old strip heaters on walls that no longer are operative, but the aircons do. The location is perfect for a quick commute down King William Rd to Adelaide CBD, and the beds are utterly comfortable. In typical motel style, rooms have microwaves, toasters, basic crockery and cutlery, and towels are changed daily. A coin operated laundry is available on site for guests too.
In the nearby King William Rd there are numerous upbeat eateries, bakeries, excellent meals at the Hyde Park Tavern, and you can pick up basic supplies at a nearby Foodstar store
For the price, Jasper is hard to beat for accommodation so close to the city.

Room tip: In busy times book early! It is more popular than you might think.

Dull but was only for one night and can't complain about the cheap price! At least there was free WiFi and was quite comfortable for it's price. Nice set up for the location although they lied about being so close to the city because they definitely are not but otherwise still not a bad spot to stay.

Rooms vary in size, buildings somewhat tired, but rooms were clean, had sufficient facilities, ideal for a group of us about to embark on a long cycling trip around Sth Australia. Very handy to shops & restaurants/pub in Unley, easy biking to beach or city centre, and Royal Show Grounds.

Room tip: All rooms on ground floor, rooms 1 - 3 on the small side

On entry to our room there was two large clumps of dirt & hair on the carpet, but the rest of the carpet was clean. so I think maybe the vacuum cleaner needed to be emptied, & when I checked the bathroom the shower curtain needs washing as it had yellow marls on the bottom. & in one corner of the shower there was black marks on the grout [ ? mould ]. When we checked in the owner gave me the towels , bathmat & soap I found this strange as usually they are already in the rooms. No shampoo, or body wash.it did have a toaster & microwave only cups & saucers no plates again why no plates when there is a toaster in the room. also there were only 2 power points we could access 1 in the bathroom & 1 for the kettle. so if you wanted to use the toaster you had to unplug the kettle then plug it back in. the price was very good. Frid night had about 12 cars in Sat night was nearly full & sun night had 12 cars in
