Carbone's Randolph Ave location was a regular stop when I was a teenager, and I usually get there on my annual visits to the Twin Cities. The pizza I shared with 3 other guests at lunch recently was even better than I remembered. The thin crust was crispy. The extra mushrooms and green peppers plentiful and fresh. The extra cheese abundant. The sauce perfectly balanced with savory spices and rich tomato flavors. One large pizza was totally satisfying for 4 of us.
