The pizza is amazing!! I love the pepperoni pizza because they put a ton of pepperoni on. Definitely coming back to Black Sheep.

Took an hour to get a cheese pizza. Rushed to eat it. Got a parking ticket. Don’t waste your time.
They need to hire more staff
There were empty tables when we arrive. Extremely slow for not being busy

We normally eat regular fast food pizza and were a little intimidated by the menu but the food was delicious. This was our first time in St. Paul and we walked there from our hotel (Embassy Suites). Our family of 3 shared a salad (plenty to share), an order of bread and a 12”pizza. We even had leftovers! Perfect New York style pizza; fold it and enjoy it. Also the beers were local and tasty.

We were a group of 9 and came after a high school graduation. Arrived about 7:30, but didn't get served the 3 pizzas until about 8:45. Two people had to leave before the food arrived. I am not sure if something was wrong with the air circulation, but it was quite warm inside. Two of the 3 pizzas were delicious; the Meatball, Ricotta and Garlic was the best, second was a pepperoni and mushroom. The third pizza was the Oyster Mushroom which was not impressive because it had too much rosemary and the crust was too black. Yes, it is a "coal fired pizza," but the crust doesn't have to be burned on 75%. All in all with the wait and the extra cost, I'd rather go to Punch. Three pizzas should not take 75 minutes to cook as it wasn't all that busy.
