The only thing you really need to stay here for is a bed. Nothing fancy. But place is clean and price is right. If you go to the desk, they will quote you something like $99 for the night. If you go online (Kayak, Travelocity, etc) you will get a quote of about $49. Good deal!

I only stayed here because the quiet room I like at Motel 6 down the street was occupied, but, Oh, dear GOD!

4 days, *zero* hot water. I've been reduced to bucket baths (and can't wait to get home) because the shower is ice cold no matter how long you let the faucet run--on the first floor, even! Bathroom is filthy with pee stains and pubic hair all over the toilet and dirt caked on the baseboards; tub is just as gross. Towels are stained and smell like mildew; they weren't neatly folded on arrival, which makes one wonder where they've been. Bring your own toiletries. Seriously. And detail cleaning is definitely not a thing, here. Bring extra socks.

In-room fridge needs to be defrosted and the "shelf" is held together with packing tape. Sheets were clean, but have multiple cigarette burn holes in them. Innerspring bed is very old, uneven, and lumpy, as are the pillows.

Windows are single-paned, vent cold air, and the sound from outside/the freeway is phenomenally loud; the lock on the window is broken completely off; instead, there's a flimsy metal bar that could be knocked out in seconds from the outside with a hanger. Cable is very limited, and the stations don't come in well; remotes are inoperable, and had foreign matter caked on them.

Every time I left the room, people in the hall and out front have hit me up for cigarettes, money, and rides to GOD only know where; some of these people have been very menacing. There's a homeless woman who hangs out in the lobby and a bench out front, smoking and begging, telling sob stories about how she's abused and needs help, but what she wants is money; she's asked for access to the room every time I've seen her. The side parking lot is used for car repair. It was kind of like staying in a frat house.

This "inn" is definitely not worth the price of $70 a night. Oh! And they're still hanging on to my $100 "deposit" that they charge if you use a debit card or pay in cash.

After travelling for 5 hours on the road, we had gone to watch a hockey game at the stadium, we had booked the room the day before our stay so we didn't have to drive another 5 hours back.

We got to the hotel at around 10:30pm after the game to check in. We had booked 3 rooms as we were a party of 6 and we were told at reception that there were no rooms available!! He even pulled up our reservation on the computer and confirmed the booking name without us even telling him the full name of the guy who booked it! So he knew we had booked the rooms however decided that as we had not arrived before 10pm he would give our rooms to other people.

He told us that all bookings were cancelled after 10pm if noone showed up! Funny that there was also a phone number provided on the booking meaning he could have called us to see if we were on our way or not... Common sense really?!

This meant we had to travel out of Minneapolis to find another hotel at 11pm after a very long day of traveling

6 very unhappy people!

We arrived and we're given the dirtiest room I have EVER stayed in. We figured, we were at a budget place so I guess this is what it is. It was evident the room had not been cleaned-there was a balled up pair of socks, cheerios and assorted other trash on the floor. The iron and ironing board were missing, and the window looked out onto the front where locals would hang out ALL night and catcall as we entered it exited the building. The TV was not working, cable in and out and you could watch a few seconds and then would go static. We ended up asking to switch rooms which the staff was very kind and apologetic for. The room we were given was in the top floor and MUCH cleaner. We woke up the next morning to wasps buzzing around our window and had to deal with a few that got into the room! I think there must be a nest somewhere on the roof. It isn't conveniently located near much, so plan on a $15 uber ride to most places. Aside from that, things went smoothly, but I would advise anyone considering staying here to check out air bnbs. That is the route we will be taking next time.

I do have to say, the staff was very kind and pleasant to converse with. Seems to be a common theme in this city. We will certainly be back to the area.
