This was a 9 hr trip to Rochester, MN. The Hotel was very nice and close to the Mayo clinic. Only slept there. No report on Food or entertainment. Very convienent if you need to be seen at the Mayo clinic. Parking was tricky!

Good location across from the Mayo Clinic. But the hotel is an early 20th century hotel and it shows. Room was old, dark and depressing. Staff friendly and connection with underground was good. But the hotel needs lots of updating. Patients who stay at the hotel are already depressed and don’t need the depressing environment of the hotel.

Poor check in service and Bell Hops. Shortage of Staff at prime check in time and in the restaurant at prime meal times. Rooms are clean, but very dated and bathrooms are very small. I was charged for an extra room in error.

So very convenient to stay at the Kahler. We are older and find it easy to navagate between the hotel the clinic or the hospital. We have always been able to find a parking spot and its very easy to walk from the parking lot to the hotel.
