My husband and I come here as a Sunday tradition. Rustics has he absolute best pastries in the Twin Cities and amazing cappuccino. There's nothing quite like the simple joy of a perfectly flaky croissant!

You will not have a baguette this tasty outside of France. Period. From their soft and buttery Challah to the crusty and savory olive loaf these bread makers can not be beat. The scones are perfect, as are the scrumptious cookies (your belly will have a love/hate relationship with the chocolate chocolate chip). They can run out early - so if you KNEAD bread for a special dinner, make sure to make a morning run.

The only true downside is that the flow of the restaurant is not very conducive to people waiting in line, so don't be surprised to bump elbows with other customers coming and going. Sometimes, depending on the baker, bread can be left in just a touch too long, making it a bit dry - make sure to see which loaf is selected for you to make sure the color is right. While they do make an excellent latte, I usually find it too noisy in the restaurant to enjoy there so I get it to go.

Renovated farm house with lots of seating, coffee roaster and a patio for warmer days. Quiet nooks to enjoy food or have small business meeting.

Menu is breakfast and lunch, with mostly yummy bakery items. Don't be deceived the Tuscan soup is excellent. Full bodied coffee.

Ok so after going ham on Lake Calhoun, biking and pedal boating got hungry and happened upon this place. Sure glad I did; awesome assortment of pastries and coffee. Probably not the best idea, right after all that physical activity, but soooo good.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Minneapolis. The bread is always fresh and delicious. The facilities clean and the price right. Service is tailor made for each person and if you decide to have lunch you can rest assured the same will be very tasty and original.
