Description: A Korean immigrant, inspired by the pure love of food, joy and her mother’s own delicious cooking, quits her day job, opens an artisan pizza pie place and names it after her dog. There’s no need to be overly patriotic here, but is there anything more American than that? Yep, sometimes dreams do come true. Welcome to Pizzeria Lola where we serve wood fired pizzas, shareable small plates, warm chocolate chip cookies, soft serve ice cream, wine, beer and fun! Don't forget to take a trip to our photobooth when you visit.

My wife and I went here at 6 on a Saturday, and it took is a while to get in. However, it turned out to be totally worth the wait. There was a good selection of beers and other beverages, including a nice hard cider. The meatball appetizer was well-seasoned meatballs in a tangy and tasty marinara sauce, served with toast points.

Pizza is one size (12 inches) and only one kind of crust, and sliced into sixths. We opted for the Oktoberfest special pizza, two kinds of thin-sliced sausage, sauerkraut, and a white sauce that complemented. We ordered this based on our waitress, Billie's, recommendation. The pizza, an unusual combination, was simply outstanding.

We finished the meal with the "build your own" ice cream sandwich, which is a tasty soft-serve ice cream and two generously-sized warm chocolate chip cookies.

If you're lucky enough to have Billie as a server, order whatever she tells you to order!

This is some of the best pizza I have had. Wonderful crust with inventive toppings. They also have some classic fair for less adventurous eaters.

Yeah this is a popular joint and rightly so. I really like the crust...
I don't really know what else, that was the best part. We had korean bbq style pie.

If you like wood fired pizzas, you must stop here. All ingredients are fresh made in house. The big round brick oven can be seen throughout. It’s a great, eclectic atmosphere! Be prepared to wait for a table as it’s a small space, and parking can be a bit difficult.
