We had an average meal. None of the food was bad, and it was all cooked correctly. The Popper Burger was not spicy (from a 13 year old), and the steak medallions dinner had an interesting flavor combination (Asian greens and a cognac sauce on the steak - the family member that ate it thought the flavors muddled together).

One of us had the Walleye tacos and someone else had the fish and chips. Both of those were quite tasty.

Great food, friendly wait staff. Our server Molly was the best I've experienced in a long time. My grandson ask her for the recipe for basically vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce topped with Oreo cookies, she took the time to write down for him, so I'd have it to make. Stop in you won't be sorry.

We have been to Bonfire many times and it has had its ups and downs. The current Bonfire has not changed its menu in forever. The usual items are not as good as they have been in the past. I’m hoping for another turn-around.

We used to go at least every other week. In the past six months the service and food has gotten worse and worse. Our final visit was last Friday. We arrived around 5:00 and noticed at least 15 empty tables. We told the hostess there would be two of us to which she replied "The kitchen is behind and it will be at least an hour wait". She offered no apology and her tone of voice was extremely rude. Not sure what is going on here...maybe new ownership or management who no longer cares!

This used to be one of my favorite places to go. I went for lunch this month and could not believe how bad the food was. I had about 3 trips there in the past year hoping I just hit an off day and all were bad. The place was empty and we still had lousy service. Too bad because there are not that many neighborhood restaurants in this area. Drinks are good and ambiance is good but they need to improve food and service.

Thank Diane C
