If your lucky you will get to see the fun dueling pianos, but I think they finally retired them. I love the warm atmosphere that they have with their decor. The food is average, and it's a typical eagan restaurant/bar. One good thing is that it is in the thomas lake mall, so you can do multiple errands over there, and pop in to grab a bite when you are done.

Wife and i shared the french dip and they split so we each had are own plate. They even made different fries which they did not have to do. They went out of the way to make us welcome,

Excited to try the Eagan location because of other Bonfire locations and Axels. The service was weak starting with a incorrect drink and oh well response. Then the recommended app was lettuce wraps that was marginal. Finally we got our dish in which the walleye and potatoes were good but s medium cooked steak was "dry". The time between app and salad was 15+ minutes. Not sure why and refills had to be asked for. There will not be a return trip to this location. PS we shared the steak and she was aware of it and only 1 steak knife. Hmmmm

Dined there on a Sunday evening about 7 pm and choice to eat on the patio. Host said he would be right behind us with the menus. Of the 8 tables on the patio, 4 had not been cleared. The outside station was full of dishes and menus. We sat at a table that was not cleared. It took at least 10 minutes before staff came out and by that time there were at least 3 tables waiting. We were ignored. We had to ask for the table to be cleared and to get service. The young girl who cleared and wiped the table had obviously never done this before. Finally a server attended to us and had several excuses as to why it took so long. ( not very good one as far as we were concerned ). She took our drink and food order. It took another 10 minutes to get our drinks and an additional 30 minutes to get our food. Server was a bit over- the- top in her attitude. I ordered the Walleye tacos and hubby had a chopped salad. Both were ok, not great but ok. That is why I gave it a 2 instead of a 1. Another note in regard to the patio, there were random electrical cords hanging from the awning and the floor appeared to not have been swept in a long, long time.
We will not dine there again.

We live close by and have been going to this location for years, always was fantastic. The menu was recently overhauled and pizza's were eliminated and only two burgers now! Menus are left at the table now like a diner, and you bill comes to the table without the traditional cover/leather case - just the rolled up piece of white paper with a pen. Not sure what the ownership group plans to do with the massive wood burning pizza ovens at each location - just serve paper thin flat breads? Our house salad (which the new menu describes as 'mixed greens' was 100% iceberg. My inquiry with the manager resulted in him saying 'I'll go check with the big wigs', he never returned and my bill reflected no adjustment - until I asked our server who went and questioned the manager. He said he forgot to make the adjustment. Convenient. My kids reluctantly ordered a burger with ketchup and pickles due to the absence of their favorite pizza's. Burgers arrived without pickles. I know I sound like a whiner but this place went from a hero to a zero really fast. We can't go back - but it was a fantastic 7 year run, too bad someone started making stupid decisions.
