Stayed here for a wedding. We got a club level room for a very reasonable price. Our club level room was actually cheaper than the standard rooms that were part of the wedding block. The amenities were above average and the room was one of the more comfortable that I have stayed in. The club level lounge was probably the highlight of my stay. Being able to have a space like that with those extras, it is something I cannot say enough nice things about. Stupid little things like being able to walk around the corner at 1am in my pajamas to grab a cold Coke and some cereal, little things like that mean the world to me. The in-room amenities were above average in my opinion. I can't think of a single complaint about this property.

Checking in and out was a breeze. I will admit I do not like Duluth, not at all. However, for someone who did, the location of the hotel was fabulous. Easy access to everything on the main strip and the water was literally right across the way.

Room Tip: If the club level room is available at a reasonable rate (which it usually seems to be), definitely get that.

We stayed there recently and were not overly impressed. I expected more for the Sheraton because of their name. The room we had was for handicapped and wife and I are neither. We were hoping for a room close to our friends but that didn't happen. The rooms don't have refrigerators in them or a microwave. For a Sheraton, this place needs work. It is close to several downtown shops and taverns and it does provide shuttle to Canal Park.

The person at the front desk in the early afternoon was very rude, we had two interactions with her on two different days. Both times treated us like we were stupid, was unfriendly, and did care about our bad experience. Actually, none if the workers showed any care or concern for us. We were given a room already occupied by another guest. Then it took foreverrrrrrrr for the front desk to find us another room, our keys did not work in the complimentary club room. The food was not good, the parking is a pain. The doors slam when people leave their rooms (someone needs to make quiet doors for hotels). We were worried the whole stay that they would give the second room to someone else & would have gone elsewhere had we not prepaid for our room. We were there for an event & it was the only hotel that was close to the DECC that was still available, should have been a big red flag,

I revisited this hotel after promises of a Fall remodel. Well that never happened. The place is still extremely dirty. My carpet was full of stains and my pillows were yellow from sweat. You can’t even change the pillows?

Easily the dirtiest SPG hotel I’ve stayed at. I doubt it will ever get remodeled, and likely just get removed from the Sheraton brand.

We are annual visitors to Duluth and usually stay at a hotel in Canal Park. We decided to stay here for two nights because we wanted to try a new hotel and dogs were welcome. We brought our yellow lab with us and he was warmly greeted by staff and visitors. It worked out well for us. Overall we liked the hotel but do not plan to return. Positives: clean room, nice view overlooking Superior Street and the lake; large bathroom; Starbucks coffee to brew in the room; free WiFi; good workout room with up-to-date equipment; and wonderful staff. Negatives: king bed was not as comfortable as ones found at other hotels; pillows were poor quality; and the parking is not on-site. We think the hotel offers false advertising about their parking. It is not really at the hotel; it is a five-ten minute walk from the hotel. Parking is validated by the hotel and it is in a public multi-level parking ramp located in a separate location behind the hotel. There are no reserved parking spots for hotel guests. To access the hotel after parking your vehicle, you can either exit the ramp and walk the steeply inclined, side street followed by the main street to the hotel ’s front entry or you can walk a very long skyway and then take a very, very slow elevator from the skyway level to the hotel. The skyway is very quiet and isolated-feeling during the weekend and busier during the weekdays. We do not plan to return due to the inconvenience of the parking arrangements.

Room Tip: Definitely book a lake view. Other room face the parking ramp behind the hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel, we truly appreciate your feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that you were greeted nicely. Here at the Sheraton we LOVE our dogs!!

We are sorry to hear that you were frustrated by the parking, we agree, there is a bit of a walk to get to our hotel from the parking ramp. Many of our guests take advantage of the shuttle that we offer, they park their cars in the ramp and do not take them out again until they are departing. Our shuttle drivers will take you anywhere you would like to go within a six mile radius, including your car in the ramp. Perhaps that would be an option for you.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback and we hope that you reconsider your thoughts on staying with us again.
