We stayed at Maplelag resort for the weekend of my cousin's wedding and had a magnificent time! There was so much to do to keep our kids busy, and it was a beautiful rustic cabin that we got to stay in! Everything was well maintained and kept very clean! We were worried about the shared cabins, but everyone is so busy the whole weekend with all of the different activities around that resort, that we were only in our cabins when sleeping and getting ready! Would highly recommend this place to couples trying to choose a place for their wedding weekend, as guests we were very pleased!

Perfect getaway for all ages. It was our first time cross country skiing and definitely not our last! The staff were all very kind and helpful. We stayed in a cozy caboose and ate wonderful home cooked meals each day. Definitely a family tradition in the making!

As one of the hosts of an annual Fall scrapbooking retreat at Maplelag over the last 15 years, I can truly say that the Richards family and staff are what make this special resort stand apart from all others! From the food prepared from scratch with the freshest ingredients (wonderfully accommodating to special dietary needs) to the great accommodations (with fluffy down comforters in the Fall and winter!) to the fun gift shop with a great selection of Maplelag merchandise to the incredible, well maintained trails for hiking (and cross country skiing) to all of the little nooks you can explore and relax in (check out the antique berry pickers, lunch boxes, signs, skis, decoys, games, puzzles and more!) to the huge hot tub and so much more! I can not recommend Maplelag highly enough! Thank you for everything you do to make this a place we will return to year after year!

Our annual scrapbooking weekend celebrated its 15th year anniversary at Maplelag this past weekend. Every year we enjoy the wonderful accommodations and staff who make up the unique experience that is essence of Maplelag. The food is always plentiful and simply scrumptious. Along with the bottomless cookie jars and Sunday brunch you can't go wrong with a stay at Maplelag.

My daughter recently got married here, The staff at Maplelag went way above and beyond for this fabulous weekend wedding. The lodge and the cabins were fantastic. The food which is family style was second to none. We will definitely come back to this awesome resort, This resort in a Nordic ski destination, so if you ski or want to learn cross county skiing this is the place you want to come.

Room Tip: Very rustic, Some cabins have room for 6 to 20 people.(Bunk beds double beds)
