This place is remarkable, everything was great. People are nice and the location is great. Good clean service, along with good hospitality. The location is great, because it's close to everything your looking for whether it's beaches, food,or shopping.

Went to the resort for the 10th annual Suds and Snow event and had a great time, the staff was great and everyone had a great time. Look forward to checking the place out for camping this summer.

The Vasa trail system abuts Timber Ridge's own trails, some of which are lighted. TR affords a convenient and comfortable place to base your skiing expedition. As previously mentioned, part of the beauty of venturing forth on the Vasa trail system from Timber Ridge is that you are not immediately faced with a two mile climb. In fact, one can avoid most of the climbing that characterizes the Vasa Trail by utilizing the Special K segment and still have a nice sized loop. There are a couple of hills but nothing a Hoosier flatlander such as myself can't survive. The lodge is a welcome and warm place with shorter trails for weaker skiers or children. The North American Vasa race starts and ends at Timber Ridge on the second weekend in February.

they do a nice job of maintaining their trails. There's enough to choose from so you can get out of the main resort and get into some decent backcountry. I used to ski here quite a lot and would get a pass by the day. They have a nice warming area in the lodge and rentals too. Good place to take the family and get a taste of XC skiing.
