Although known for their extensive selection of excellent sandwiches made to order, Folgarelli's is much more than that. It has a nice selection of charcuterie & cheeses and a small olive bar as well as small pizzas, good selection of wines and Italian beers. If you walk around the place you will not only find canned goods and Italian olive oils but also things like tamales in the refrigerator. The pizzas and sandwiches are very good, our favorites are the godfather (capicolla, prosciutto, cheese, roasted red pepprs & Italian dressing) and the ugly turkey (turkey, guacamole, tomato).

We've been to lots of delis and sandwich shops on our travels. But Folgarelli's beats them all. Not only are their sandwiches awesome but their selection of sides and all kinds of cold cuts and cheeses can't be beaten and kegs of olives too. Great wines are available as well as Pleasonton Bakery breads. Folgarelli's makes these fantastic giant cookies to round out your meal. We always stop here a couple times on our annual trip to Long Lake! The only tough part is which sandwich to choose!!

My wife and I used to live in TC and this was a place we frequented often. I love their #25, Sicilian, sandwich: fresh mozzarella pesto tomato on ciabatta. With a pizzarella (sp) cookie which is crunchy, with anise. They sell them behind the cash register when you check out. This place stocks anything you'd want in the way of deli treats, wines, imported foods from the Motherland. No too much space for indoor eating, but yesterday my wife and I found a table in the back of the store. There's a little more room to eat outdoors when the weather's warmer. Service is quick, food is fantastic. They do have off street parking .

We ordered two Mobster sandwiches but we could have just shared one. The sandwich was so loaded that we had to eat each half at different times. So tasty, but all those cold cuts sure give one big thirst so have some cold beer on hand .
