I stayed at this hotel for a week for work. The hotel was very accommodating as my flight got delayed and I didn't get to the hotel until around 1:30 am to check in. It looks as if the hotel was undergoing renovations while I was there but they never affected me as I was gone during the day. The rooms were decent, nothing flash. There was no internet service which made work a little difficult. The view of the river was nice despite only seeing it briefly in the morning and getting back to the hotel after dark. It was a nice surprise to see free water in the room as along with the usual coffee maker and mini fridge. The breakfast provided by the hotel definitely leaves you wanting more. It mostly consists of danishes from costco and some yogurt and mini muffins. They do have a restaurant on site that gets extremely crowded during the week as that's one of the few seafood places in town. The hotel gave a voucher for a head of the line pass as well as a free appetizer however because of it being so crowded each night, I never got a chance to eat there. Over all, the hotel wasn't bad. If you're looking for a place to just sleep, then it's great. If you're looking for something fancy, you might have to drive up to Port Huron for that.

Check in is at 3:00 and if you arrive early the is no public restroom in the lobby. The rooms are dirty. The bed sheet had a spot and the pillow case looked like someone had drooled on it. There was a cherry tomato on the floor when we checked in. We left it there to see if the housekeeper would pick it up. It was still on the floor when we left 2 days later. The bathroom has no towel bars or hooks. Apparently, they have no heat vents either as there was a (broken) space heater under the vanity. Ugh

I stayed for one night at the inn. Great location and views. Room is huge and comfortable, refrigerator and coffe make, complementary water bottles , flat screen TV and wifi. If you are member at Landry's program from the Kruse and Muer restaurants you get a better rate.
Has a really limited continental breakfast.
It's adjacent to the river crab one of the best restaurants for fish. You get a free appetizer when you stay at the inn.
They remodeled the rooms and did a really good job.
I would stay at the inn again!

We have been here multiple times. It is a great place to visit. The rooms are very nice, spotlessly clean and well kept. We love the restaurant, food is always to high standards. The bar is great fun, good drinks, excellent service. The staff make this place though, they are fantastic. It is a very well run establishment.

My wife and I stayed for the weekend in room 203. Loved the retro decor of the room. Everything was updated, things we especially loved were the updated bathroom, make up vanity with bench, bar sink with frig and the highlight of the room; comfy chairs and side table in front of the large windows. This provided a great view of the St Clair River, we were able to watch many freighters pass by. Will definitely visit again.
