This place is always open. Greek / Eastern European fare with traditional American classics. Something for everyone. Breakfast is served any time. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Salads are fresh and crispy. They even have decent specials that aren't on the regular menu, generally a good sign. Sometimes you get a crowd of teenagers or college kids, but they are well behaved and quite. Lived in the area for years. Not too many 24 hour options that actually serve real food.

Lived in Plymouth many years ago, travel home to visit family and an old favorite stop is Zacks! Good food, good prices all your typical selections from a Greek restaurant. Nothing fancy inside just friendly good eats!

Since moving into the area a year ago I always noticed the cars parked outside of this restaurant no matter the time of day. It looks like an old style family type restaurant. But what a pleasant surprise when you walk in and the restaurant is decorated nicely with both tables and booths. I eaten here once I have been back several times because the food it very good and the service is friendly. Equally important the prices are reasonable. The first time I ate here I had a gyro platter and lemon rice soup. Both were excellent but the lemon rice soup is so good I have come here to get a quart to go at times.

Even after my daughter's wedding, the next day I had several family members from out of town meet here for breakfast. They have a separate room that they can accommodate a bigger group. I think we had 10 to 12 people. Everyone enjoy their food.

I have also had the patty melt, onion rings, tzatziki (always ask for extra pita bread) and fried zucchini. All excellent. Don't miss out on a gem, give it a try.

Zack’s is a friendly family style restaurant located approximately .8 of a mile south of the heart of Downtown Plymouth. The restaurant has large booths and tables, lots of windows and plenty of parking. The reasonably priced menu offers basic American, Greek and Mexican fare along with a large selection of breakfast items served all day. We went with two friends for breakfast on an October Saturday at 9:00 a.m., were seated immediately, and offered coffee and ice water right after we sat down. The clientele, including a number of kids, was varied and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. We have sampled variations of the classic American breakfast of Scrambled Eggs or Egg Whites, Bacon or Sausage and Potatoes in many cities and a number of states so one of us tried Zack’s offering for comparison (see the attached photo). The portions were hearty and everything tasted good. A small note, the hash browns were nice and crispy on top but a little mushy on the bottom. One of us is a stickler when it comes to hash browns. Overall everything was decent. The coffee was very good, not bitter, and our cups were frequently refilled without asking (always appreciated). If you like hearty American food, or like to occasionally, or frequently, eat at local restaurants that are NOT chains, this place is worth a try.
