This is definitely one of the loveliest B and B's we've ever stayed in. Every detail! The owner is quite particular about her home and rightly so because it is a beautiful historic home. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. The owner is very helpful in suggesting places to visit. We toured the chenonceau castle and the Leonardo di Vinci museum. Both were so interesting. Sadly we were only there for one night as we were travelling through the area. I would have loved to stay longer.
My husband and I stayed at Le Belvedere after being wooed by the description of the property and the details of its features. Well, our stay at Dominique and Jean Renaud's Le Belvedere surpassed our expectations! From the warm welcome to the fond farewell, we enjoyed their hospitality and delicious home made breakfasts.
Dominique had a wealth of information about the area, its history and tips on the best places to go. Each day was filled with a new adventure, unique dining experiences and an occasional kick back relaxing day enjoying their magical home.
And restaurants galore! Each of the recommendations the Guillemots gave us was a "find". Le Belvedere is central and is conveniently located to many key sites. We're already planning our next visit. Want to go back!!!
