“Great place to stay for young families but also great for grown ups”

I just booked this year's holiday to Le Chevrefeuille and thought I should write a review about last year's stay because we haven't stopped talking about it and these guys deserve five star reviews!!

We stayed for two weeks in one of the self catering cottages at Le Chevrefeuille and absolutely thought it brilliant. The kids (we've got three, ages 2, 5 and 9) absolutely loved it. The cottage itself was perfect for us, really great set up with a great kitchen, nice family room space with good telly and a space out the back with bbq, table and sun loungers.

Great for my husband and I because we could dine at the restaurant they have onsite. Ian's a great chef, we had duck one night and salmon another and both were beautiful. Sara loaned us baby monitors so we could put the kids to bed and go to the restaurant without the kids! Where else can you do that?

It's in a great location, smack bang in the middle of the best villages in the area - lots of great things to visit with kids too like the aquarium in one of the nearby towns. The kids loved everything!! Especially the pool, which is beautiful and they loved meeting other kids.

It's not far from a pretty little town with great shops and restaurants too and there's a few great waking paths around the accommodation. NB, you definitely need a car if you're staying here.

Can't fault Le Chevrefeuille at all! We can't wait to go back this year and just wish we could stay for longer.

Just returned from a 10 day holiday in the Dordogne in France. The last four days were spent at Le Chevrefeuille. What a wonderful place. We went bed and breakfast. The room was superb very very clean beautiful shower room with towels changed daily along with the toiletries. We had kettle and tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was topped up daily. The sheets were also changed every day and the room cleaned. The breakfast was excellent with fresh bread every day along with a variety of cold meats cheeses jams cereals and fresh and dried fruit. It set us up for most of the day. We had a beautiful meal cooked for us on our second night by Ian and Sarah who were excellent mine hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We would certainly reccomend it for a relaxing break and we will certailny return
