“A great place to make a picnic”

We stopped into the shop just to browse and came away with the makings for a few picnic lunches (we were camping at Muskegon State Park so this was a perfect find for us).

The shop is more of a specialty grocer than just a cheese shop. Everything is top quality and the prices are reasonable for what you're getting (they would be higher in most places).

This is a great locally owned shop. I wish we had this exact store in my hometown--I'd love to shop here on a regular basis.

My first memory of 'The Cheese Lady' was at the farmer's market in Muskegon. Since then, they have moved to a store near Historic Downtown Muskegon. Not only do they have cheese, but also flavored oils for cooking and dressings, meats, crackers... A small grocery really with all the things you'd think you have to go to the big city for.
Stop in and say hi, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. A gem
