We found this gem of a hotel last week and loved everything it had to offer! Indoor and outdoor pools were well-maintained - they are saltwater, which I didn't know was even a thing, but I could barely tell (lucky for me since i hate swimming in salt water). The outdoor area had plenty of seating possibilities, even a couple of clamshell-style cabanas situated right by the water facing west so you can enjoy watching the sunset.
I have to give mad props to Ismael, who checked us in. He was handling multiple issues at once that day, but was still super friendly and professional, and when the room we got had a strange smell, he promptly gave us another room instead, with a beautiful view. Thank you, Ismael!
The Lake House restaurant has excellent food, and the free breakfast every morning was more than substantial. There are also some great local places nearby like Mia & Grace, and Rebel Pies (which is connected to Unruly Brewing Co, serves great beer).
We didn't get to take advantage of any water sports, but can't wait to return and check out even more of what the hotel has to offer.More
