My family went on a trip to New York to visit my sons college. On the way back we had car issues which delayed our trip as the car was in the shop waiting for parts. We called the manager 2 3/4 days before our reservation to let them know we would not be able to make our reservation because of the car issues and would like a refund. The manager said she can’t do anything about it and that the owner would be the one who could make the decision to refund or not. The manager said the owner would call us back the next day. The next day we waited for the owner to call and they did not. We called 3-4 times that day talking to the manager several times each time with a new excuse why the owner did not call us. She said the owner would call us the next morning. We waited for a call the next morning with no luck we called again and the manager said the owner would call within the hour and flat out lied to us on several of the times we called. Again no call. We ended up not staying as our car did not get finished in time. I called again when we got home to talk to the owner again we got the manager who stated now she was the owner and there was nothing that she could do that people lie to her all the time to get out of reservations. I tried to explain to her our situation was out of our control and she hung up on me. I called back to demand to talk to the owner and she said there was nothing that they were going to do and that she was going to call the police on me and then she hung up the phone again.
She was out right rude lied to me multiple times and made every excuse in the book to not refund our reservation which we called well in advance for. She charged us for a service that we did not receive and was out of our control. do not spend A penny at this motel as they are liars and frauds.
