I have stayed here at this hotel 3 times in the past 15 years. Nothing is ever updated; in fact it’s only getting worse. The view of the lake is amazing! First impression this time was that the staff didn’t really care about our needs. It’s the off season and I asked for an extra pillow with the response that they might be able to get one. You are a hotel. You should have extra towels, pillows, blankets, etc. The rooms smell like mold. The jacuzzi was grungy. The wallpaper is peeling off of the walls and it looks like someone without any experience in maintenance attempted to patch things up all over the hotel.
Breakfast: 2 hours to get through a long line of people attempting to obtain 4-5 breakfast options. As a hotel you should provide some nicer amenities, at least decent coffee. This will be our last visit. I suppose since you’re on the water and when the all the hotels are full you will remain an option and people will continue to pay. This hotel has so much potential. It’s a shame that whomever owns it hasn’t invested much, if any money in updating it.
