The Bridgeview Hotel was very nice. Our second visit there.. very clean and a wonderful view of the bridge... had a fire pit so we could enjoy the view of the bridge at night.... will definitely stay there again.

Review of Bridge View Motel & Condo's

This is clearly a cheap hotel people on a budget.
It was frustrating at first because we were called by the hotel as I drove up, confirming that we would be showing up in the window that the front desk was open. Imagine our surprise when the front desk was actually at a different motel.
The room was old and run down, nail clippings on the floor, a rusted Kleenex holder, light switches that did nothing. A TV that wouldn't boot up to show, well, television.
NIce view, and right on the water. And there was not a bad smell. That got to the Poor rating. Also, this was a last minute booking, and while overpriced for Labor Day, it was still one of the least expensive hotels in the area, and had availability.
I have stayed in worse places, but I had had to think about it to remember them.

Given the area I expected an old hotel but it should still be clean! Dirty carpet, bugs in room, shower head laying on back of toilet when we arrived.
Felt dirty even being in the room!
Air conditioning is old and did not cool off room

Apparently four Motels in a row are owned by the same people. You check in the Sunrise Beach Motel for all four. We checked in for the Bridge View Motel. It was not for us. A little air conditioner in the wall that did not work right. No internet or tv service. They said there was a call in to the supplier. That didn't work for us. It is old and not worth the money. After asking for our money back, they moved us to the Sunrise Beach Motel. That motel was perfect. I would recommend the first floor, but were grateful to have a nice room.
Room tip: would not recommend.

We booked a room that said it was a bridge view room. Upon arrival we were told that meant that if we walked outside we could see the bridge.. OK.
About the room.. It smelled very bad, almost sewer-like.
Very outdated and worn down. Looked dirty.
Check in does not happen at this hotel, you have to go to another hotel (Sandy Beach I think) down the road.
Staff was arguing during check in.
Constant gunshots for hours across the road.
Would not recommend.

We arrived at 9:30 at night. The sign on the door said to go to the hotel down the road to get the key to our room. When we got down there we received the key and went back to the hotel. There was no indoor pool, coffee maker, ice machine. We live three hours away and we have to go by what booking.com was told. If I wanted to swim or hot tub I had to go down to a different hotel to swim. If I wanted breakfast or ice I had to go down the road to get these items that I was told they were on sight. I was very disappointed and for a fact I will not go back.
Room tip: Stay somewhere else.
