We arrived at our hotel, got to our room and walked in to no lampshade on the lamp and no way to adjust the temperature in our room. The room was drab but not filthy. I walked into the bathroom to find only 1 towel (there were 4 of us) and the floor was dirty. The water park advertised was closed. The pool was open and the kids enjoyed it. The first time we used the toilet it didn’t flush properly and got worse with every flush until it needed service. We called the office 3 times in 2 hours until they found someone to fix it. We found bugs in our bed as well. We never slept under the covers. I have never had such a bad experience.

Very clean! Plenty of towels, coffee and toiletries. Close to everything. Missed the usual buffet breakfast but did receive a "grab and Go" of apple, granola bar and bottled water. Have stayed here many times because price is right.
Room tip: Ask for lakefront

Clean and comfortable beds. Beautiful view of the water n beach area. You could see the waves coming in from the boats coming back from Mackinaw Island. Friendly and smiling staff. They were very helpful with area attractions
Room tip: Higher floors have better view. Love seeing the boats come in and the fireworks were great to see!

I have traveled many places, and this was the WORST experience I've ever had. I requested a rollaway bed upon booking, and once again upon arrival. We never got our rollaway bed. I walked to the front desk because our phone was dead and requested a rollaway bed again, which never arrived throughout our entire stay. We have never received replacement towels, but someone did take our broken phone whilst entering our room. The worker never replaced the phone throughout our stay. Beware the Fairview Beachfront Inn!

Quiet friendly place with clean rooms and nice beachfront. Had to check in next door but staff was friendly. Price was good considering it was peek season in Mackinaw. Will consider staying at this hotel again.
Room tip: book early during peek season,Rooms facing the beach have the most beautiful sunrises.

Gorgeous view. Nice large room with 3 beds. Thank God we only slept here. It was bad from the beginning. We had to go next door to check in. Service was rude. The room still had garbage from other people. We didn't have internet the night we arrived. With no apology. No Hot tub in service. Which we were told it was in operation. Only 2 tvs when we were promised 3. Breakfastt was a granola bar, apple and water. The office wasn't opened so we had to go to the othe3r hotel for it two days in a row. One of the hotels said we couldn't get our breakfast for them. Told we were only allowed 7a to 9am but the service told us 7 to 10. Overpriced. Gross carpeting. The shower was clogged in one of the bathrooms. Two of the three sinks were also clogged. Very disapointing. There is a diffence in being short staffed and having rude service and being misinformed.
