DO NOT STAY HERE.

First off they are rude.

And WE FOUND BED BUGS....EEEEEEWWW

And the staff already KNEW ABOUT THE BED BUGS...

So just DON'T RISK IT!

We were staying there for the pool and hot tub but they were both closed down and from what I have heard it has been closed down for a month and a half. Yet they don't it posted anywhere on the internet or hotel.

But most importantly BED BUGS.

We apologize for your misfortune involving the bed bug incident. Bed bugs are transported from one hotel to another. As soon as we are reported of an incident like this, we heat the room to 140 degrees for 3 hours. Then the room is cleaned and inspected 3 times before we allow anyone to stay in it. As for the swimming pool, it was under remodeling for 3 weeks. We had signs posted thru out the hotel letting our guests know. The pool has been in operation since the beginning of December.

We've stayed 5 times and each visit has been great. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable (we both have bad backs), nice restaurants and bars near by, the staff has been friendly and accommodating (especially Karen at the front desk), easy parking and nice atmosphere. I chose this hotel originally because it was a good halfway point for myself coming from Grand Rapids and boyfriend working in Ann Arbor. We were happy here the first time and have now stayed 4 more times in the past 5 weeks. We plan to come back weekly while he's working in Ann Arbor. I usually don't write reviews but with staying here so many times and having a pleasant experience each stay, I felt they deserve a good review.

Tried for a month to block off rooms for families traveling to a tournament in that area. We're told they were having problems with their reservation system can't "see" those rooms. Call back later. Defended thme to my families for weeks, give them time, it will work out. Called again to reconfirm week of event was told they we working on it and they would call me back. Never did, just trusted it would work out. Our reservations were for two nights with emphasis on the second night. At check inmy families were told reservations were for Friday only not Saturday. They did assure us they would take care of it. Families returning to the hotel Saturday night found their key cards had been deactivated. The staff on duty 11-19-16 after 8pm could not have been more rude wondering inflammatory. One of claimed to have been responsible for making our group reservations tried lying her way out of these problems and blaming other staff members for these mistakes. We never received an apology for all the inconveniences. And of course their pool was closed for maintenance! Do not give this hotel a second chance you will regret it, and there are far better properties with competent staff.

Bed Bug Hotel- woke up in middle of night and the bed was crawling with numerous bed bugs
EVERYWHERE! Massive sized coming out of pillows and from side of bed. Next day I started to see the extent of the bites- hundreds. On my face, head, neck, arms, chest, back, everywhere. Even the hotel cleaning lady said she knew it was an issue but the owners don't deal with it. Most disgusting experience of my life. Beware!

Rooms are nice and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of places around to eat and shop. Wifi is a bit tricky to connect to but once connected, there were no issues. Convention center side is large enough for multiple events.

Room Tip: Higher floors have less water pressure
