The location is just a couple blocks down from "down town"...or a $4 uber ride. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave. Very average hotel, rooms were spacious nothing special, but it was clean and quiet.

The roads in Kalamazoo are a little tricky, and parking is limited but the hotel is great.

The room next to us was terribly loud and lots of fighting last night but the hotel handled it well.

We would visit again

If I'm paying $130 for a room, I expect better. The first room assigned to us didn't lock (room 214). We were heading out to grab dinner & my husband checked to make sure the door was locked, but he was able to push it right open. There was also leftover, smelly food from someone else in the fridge. So we got assigned a second room. The front desk guy was very friendly & helpful. Our second room had a fridge that made a 'clicking' sound ALL night long that kept us awake. The furniture was all scratched up & the walls were all marked up. There were 4 packets of decaf coffee & 0 regular. Very poor cleaning servuce here. We picked this hotel because it was walking distance to the bars, but would think twice about ever staying here again.

The furniture in the room is borderline - desk chair would not raise or lower and was slightly ripped - sitting chair was slanted back and uncomfortable. Lighting in room very dim. Bed was good and room was clean. However, noise from room next door and hallway was literally frightening - loud noises, people slamming doors and yelling in the hallway and loud drops of things - not sure if it was above me or next door or in hallway - this kept up till 3:00 a.m. - Fitness room was wholly inadequate - again very dim light and the treadmill was locked at a high incline so was impossible for running. I would not advise anyone to stay here

Comfortable bed, good for an overnightstay. Our room was by the stairwell and was inevitably noisy, but no biggie. It was a good value and the customer service was good. Located near downtown, which is a plus.
