Attended the butterfly exhibit and the outdoor children’s area. Though it was cold we enjoyed the walk outside. The children enjoyed the caterpillars and the beautiful butterflies.

Have been to the gardens twice this year so far! Orchid show then the butterfly exhibit. Cant wait for Japenese garden to begin to bloom again! Went to a couple of good summer concerts too. Very easy venue to navigate.

We visited in April when the butterflies hatched. The flowers in the conservatory are fragrant and beautiful. The butterflies were delightful. There is a large outside garden but being early spring it was too cold and rainy for the outside. We’ll be back another time.

We were there at Christmas time to see all the trees. We didn’t get to see the gardens due to the snow and cold. Many many Christmas trees decorated from around the world. There a rooms to venture into with different plants. One area had landmarks of Grand Rapids built from wood, flowers, seeds, rocks and all sorts of materials. Really unique to see. I would like to go back to see it in the summer to be able to walk through the gardens.

They have a wonderful tropical butterfly exhibit through early April. The temps are warm. The foliage is beautiful and there are so many butterflies! If you aren’t getting some where warm it’s a great place to visit!
