We were 10 men looking for a long weekend for fishing, shooting and chilling, we found this ranch just far enough away to be somewhere and nowhere at the same time. This place was unbelievably clean, comfortable, cozy and super luxurious. To our surprise there was a full staff to take care of all your needs during your stay, There is a great chef for daily meals and tip top house keeping to fix your bed and leave fresh towels daily, and support staff that is on top of everything. We enjoyed the largest fire pit (there was wood stacked everywhere). They even have a commercial kitchen that was fun to use. All 9.5 Bathrooms was clean with comfortable towels. This is a great place to get away from it all. Congrats to the ownership and staff for making our annual fishing trip a success, the best we have had in 8 years of renting places. And yes we will book next year!

We rented the Legends lodge for a boys weekend and we were blown away by the Legends lodge. We were looking for a place to relax, play yard games, fish and drink some beer and we could not have picked a better place. First off, the lodge is massive and worked perfectly to accommodate all of us. It has a beautiful lawn overlooking your own private lake which has a couple pontoons you can take out and fish off. They provided breakfast in the mornings which were absolutely delicious.

Pam helped coordinate a tee time at Marquette Trails golf course and also have the Baldwin Canoe Rental pick us up right from the lodge for a river float. Highly recommend both of these places as well.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. They helped picked up while also respecting our privacy. The staff at the lodge provided world class service...much more than we deserved. We will definitely be back either for another boys trip or with the spouses.

Thanks Legends for a wonderful stay!!

This is a Whitetail deer hunting lodge located north of Grand Rapids Michigan. The Trip was for six lady hunters and there guests. I shared my wife's hunting experience as an observer. The lodge was five star with everything from the well appointed rooms, excellent food, and a friendly staff. We were not pushed to maintain a schedule but had lots of free time during the day to explore, take walks and just relax. They have a private lake in front of the lodge for those who wanted to go fishing.

This would make an excellent place for a corporate or sales meeting or a family reunion. Don't miss out on the trip of a lifetime. The owner, Arthur and grandson Robert are gracious hosts. Don't miss out on a great adventure. Tom Z

Room Tip: There is not a bad room in the lodge.

This is a perfect location for a group that wants to get away from it all, but do it first-class! Everything about this ranch is exceptional, but the staff is what makes it the best. From the moment we checked-in with Pam until the moment we left, everyone on the property was wonderful and so helpful. Lawrence, the Chef, is amazing and was able to accommodate any restriction or concern that our group had with each meal more delicious than the last! Eggs to order every morning! The lodge is immaculate with so much space - we were able to spread out and be comfortable during our stay. The ranch itself is beautiful and provided great trails to walk on and see gorgeous deer and other wildlife. Our kids loved feeding the baby deer and went back a second night because they loved it so much. The lakes for fishing and swimming, although not large, were perfect for our group. Probably our favorite feature was the fire pit at night, which the staff started for us before they left. We loved the jumbo Jenga set, too! Truly a wonderful vacation filled with awesome memories!

Attended a political fundraiser at the Lodge. Pulled pork, Mac and cheese, Cole slaw, corn, bread and chocolate cake were all good to very good. The highlight, though, is the setting. Mature and very young deer roam the whole property. The winding single lane road forces you to absorb nature on your way to the lodge. Very relaxing!
