The drive up to this welcoming B & B is lined with majestic maple trees. This is nothing more than an introduction to the beautiful gardens and wel- maintained grounds of this delightful B & B. David and Jim are gracious hosts who welcome you with a happy hour and tantalize your tastebuds with their incredible breakfasts. Each room is well-appointed with much attention to detail. It was a pleasure to inspect objects from around the world in the common areas. You are a mere two-block walk from the center of town with an array of restaurants and shops. You need only ask the proprietors for their recommendations, as they readily share their cullinary and shopping experiences in Bellaire and other nearby towns and villages. Staying at the Bellaire Bed Breakfast is a must.

This was our second trip to the B& B and it won't be the last! This In is beautiful, relaxing and central to getting out and about and exploring Northern Michigan. The Owners- Dave and Jim are incredible and gracious hots who attend to every detail and see to it that their guest's needs are attended to with utmost detail. The facility is beautiful and the gourmet breakfasts are the kind you dream about. You simply will be overwhelmed staying at this Inn and enjoying their wonderful hospitality.

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful- if you like to relax get one with old style tub and soak in comfort.

This was our first vacation w/o kids in many years. We wanted to do a little sight-seeing in the Traverse/Charlevoix area and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay than the Bellaire Bed & Breakfast. The house is charming from the driveway lined on either side with grand old trees, to a welcoming dining area, a cozy library and finally our "Homespun" room.
Warm greetings by Monica, we were taken through the house and asked to be at ease and comfortable. Jim and Dave are gracious hosts, and their mission seems to be that you feel like you're staying among friends instead of at a small corporation. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning (love the carmel pecan rolls!) to get you started (don't miss their special coffee blend either).
Thank you everyone for a terrific get-away gift for my hubby!

Room Tip: Our room did not have a bathroom in-suite. It is down the hall a very little bit, and robes are provided for your to use if needed or desired. We were very comfortable with this arrangement. Everyone was very respectful. The staff is excellent at keeping everything neat and clean.

We have stayed here many times! Jim&Dave cater to your needs.if you have food or other allergies they can accommodate your needs. We usually stay in the garden room where you wake up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee. If you are looking for a place that tries to cater to you this is the place

Room Tip: If you want larger room choose the carriage house rooms. If you want a deep soaking tub choose the Garden room
