The Inn at Cape Cod
Certificate of Excellence

Mike and Helen are A-MAZE-ING!!! They have put so much love into this home. The home is in mint condition for being hundreds of years old. I experienced beauty, history, comfort, and warmth from this home and it's caretakers. Breakfast was homemade and so delicious! I couldn't eat it all as it kept coming! The bed linens were like clouds! Mike has a wit about him that cracked me up! I had a little tear in my eye as I had to say good-bye. I will never forget the Inn at Cape Cod and the experience I had there.

Hebrews 13:1-2 Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters. Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!

Room Tip: I loved the Mayflower Suite

Cape Cod is fantastic, and so is this place, it really was special. After many weeks of travelling throughout America we had seen some pretty amazing places and experienced a variety of service; but the Inn at Cape Cod has raised the bar. All inn's should be this way. The inn keepers really do care, and within twenty seconds of meeting them you feel like old friends. We had the Tally Ho room, and although the cheapest, it by far exceeded our expectations. We felt like we were in a historic manor house.... In fact we were! The place is colourful with character and oozes style. Yarmouth port is by far the prettiest of areas of the Cape, and you don't have to travel far to explore the beautiful beach or peaceful lake. We urge you to experience this place... You will treasure these memories forever.

We spent three wonderful nights at the Inn and it was definitely the best accommodation we had in our four weeks of touring New York and New England area - and we're still dreaming about the delicious breakfasts! The suggestions we were given for activities and restaurants on the Cape were very helpful and all proved most enjoyable. It was so delightful to return after a day's sightseeing and find delicious home baked goodies to have with the coffee and tea that was always available in the charming living room. We will definitely return to this idyllic inn.

I stayed at the Inn with my parents during the 4th of July weekend. It was the first time we visited Cape Cod and Mike and Helen, the owners of this lovely B&B, did everything you can imagine and more so that we made the most out of our short visit - restaurant tips, reservations for airplanes and whale watching, advice on where to go (and what to avoid), accomodating for food allergies by making a special breakfast etc. One of the most wonderful things is how enthousiastic they are about the area - it's contagious!

We'll make sure to come back to Cape Cod and the Inn and I can but recommend for everybody who's looking for a nice and relaxed Cape Cod vacation or weekend away to go there. Oh and if you do, and decide to visit Nantucket for the day (also very much recommended), ask Mike and Helen for the contact details of David the cabdriver to pick you up from the ferry or airport at Nantucket. Without a doubt, the most friendly, warmhearted, knowledgeable cab driver I've ever met!

This is more than a hotel; it is a complete experience in the way a hotel should be run!! If you book for one night you will wish you had booked for more!! Helen & Mike are the complete hosts, nothing is too much trouble, and their knowledge of what to do and see is fantastic as is there inn. This was the last of our stays at several inns in the ‘New England’ area (all of which were good) but this inn was far and away above all of these visited.
5 Stars all the way. Thanks Helen and Mike!!
PS to travellers to this Helen & Mikes Inn. For your evening meals, eat in the ‘Yarmouth Inn’ opposite service and food is fantastic. So much so we ate there for the 3 nights we stayed and almost became classed a regular!! (My pint just appeared without asking!!)
