As a native of California, I really missed authentic Mexican food when I first moved to the East Coast many years ago. Although there are still too many pseudo-Mexican restaurants, it is now possible to get the real deal and not overpay for it. The dining area is not big and a TV is playing in the background, so its not the kind of restaurant that will impress your friends who prefer fancy places. But you can impress your friends who know what real Mexican food is. I can't wait to go back.
