We went as a couple, but the inn, with its cottages steps from the beach, seems best for extended families. Older folks (able-bodied and not-so) can relax outside the cottage while the kids play in the playground, at the pool, or at the beach. Our ocean view king cottage had a small deck with table and chairs, mini frig, fireplace, A/C, spotty wifi, and stiff pillows. The beaches are small and good at low tide. There is also a public beach nearby. The inn has chaises and small umbrellas, but byo for comfort and flexibility, including beach towels, in case you need to go the public beach. Teens are happy, but there's no one to say no to their loud radios and beer drinking at the beach. There is a summer camp laid back vibe, with young people from all over the world and country providing cheerful service. Great breakfast. Coffee service at 6 am in the main building. There are one men's and one women's shower/changing room at the pool; tight but good water pressure, to give you the chance to stay on past 11 am check out, which you are welcome to do. Early morning yoga a few days/week. Ask ahead for the schedule to help plan a family visit. There is golf cart service for those who need assistance walking.

Room tip: Ask for an ocean front or ocean view cottage. Try to avoid rooms near the parking lot.

My wife and I loved our stay at The Lighthouse Inn. The bed was comfy, and the views were amazing. The staff there is extremely nice and helpful. There is also a working lighthouse that the staff will be glad to give you a tour of. Everything during our stay went very well, including the yummy hot and cold breakfast each morning. They even let you order from the menu. There is also lots to do right on the grounds. I would suggest staying here to experience the true beauty of Cape Cod in a very relaxing atmosphere....

I stayed here in Mid June weekend for a family wedding. All staff members were polite and friendly. We stayed in a Breezeway room and it worked out well for us.
The room was spotless and we appreciated the refrigerator in the room.
The breakfast was delicious each morning. The view and the grounds are fantastic.
The food at the wedding was delicious.
Joe from Alaska was so nice and friendly!
I will stay again in the future.

We visited The Lighthouse Inn, for the first time, to attend a lovely wedding. The views are amazing. The property is large and offers a pool, tennis courts, children's swing set and jungle jim, shuffle board, fire pit, and a variety of Adirondack chairs perfect for relaxation. There are great views during breakfast from inside, from the outside deck, or from a grassy area next to the sand, complete with umbrellas. We had a lovely two room cottage with two comfortable beds, (Queen & Double)TV, and a spacious very clean bathroom. Grab bars available near the shower/tub. Refrigerator, TV, coffee maker, fireplace and couch in the sitting room. The cottage also had a front sitting porch. The front desk staff was extremely accommodating on the phone and in person. Tiana was particularly welcoming. The wait staff was very friendly and the included breakfast was extensive. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, home fries, waffles, juices, coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt, and the all important diet cola. Breakfast was served as a buffet, with seating overlooking the ocean. The Lobster Roll for lunch was amazing. Parking and Wi-Fi were free and the housekeepers were very pleasant and efficient. Lovely wedding, relaxing visit. We will be back.

Room tip: Cottages very private and some have amazing ocean views.
