We arrived late in the evening, the rooms were warmed up for us which felt great after a long drive in freezing rain. This was a business trip so there wasn’t much time to really enjoy the home or kick back and relax. Debbie had a gluten free breakfast packed to go the first day since our meeting was very early and Rich made a wonderfully presented, delicious gluten free breakfast the last day. Rich and Debbie are wonderful hosts. I’d recommend staying at High Pointe and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Sorry you didn't get more time to enjoy the Inn, but glad you felt welcomed and that the early breakfast suited your business needs. Come back again anytime!

We celebrated our 23rd Anniversary by staying in the spacious Deluxe Sea Dream room on a cold, yet sunny winter weekend. Debbie and Rich were exceptional hosts, ensuring comfort, style, delicious breakfast, warmth, great conversation and more. "Surfyboy1973" provided an accurate description of the room and Inn. No detail was overlooked. I was most impressed with the dark makeup towel, pre-stamped postcards, binoculars (enjoyed bird watching from our room), robes, wine glasses, corkscrew and umbrellas all found in our room. In the dining room, coffee and tea mugs were kept toasty on a warming tray awaiting our morning arrival. The Inn is beautifully furnished and immaculate, with fresh smelling linens and spacious rooms. Also a plus is the location, within close proximity to a gorgeous beach (Sandy Neck) and great restaurants (we loved Fishermen's View). Our stay was truly a peaceful retreat! Highly recommend!

It was a quiet winter weekend, so our conversations were so welcomed. Lovely people who obviously have a wonderful marriage and family. Happy anniversary and thank you for your review.

We wanted to get away from the craziness of our life to celebrate our anniversary. Knowing that the area isn't that busy in December, we looked forward to a quiet adventure away and we got just that! The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. It was so quaint! We stayed in the room off of the sitting area. The room we stayed in would be a perfect master bedroom at our house! The closet is huge, the bathroom is beautiful, and the bedroom was so spacious. The bed was comfortable. The fireplace is a Duraflame style fireplace. It gave the room a nice little ambiance. Debbie and Rich were such great hosts. Breakfast was delicious! You have to get the French Toast! The house was very clean and it was very easy to come and go as we pleased. We would most definitely be return guests if we lived on the East Coast!

Always delightful to have guests from the west coast. So glad you enjoyed your stay with us. If/when you are back in our neighborhood we would be delighted to have you as our guests again. Happy New Year!

Absolutely charming, beautifully decorated B&B on a lovely Cape Cod property. Absolutely everything one could want. Best breakfast ever! Debbie and Rich were wonderful hosts. would like to have checked in for a couple of weeks?

Room Tip: We loved the red room with an oriental theme- very spacious, gracious, and comfortable. Order the French Toast- it is absolutely amazing!

I stayed at High Pointe Inn on the final leg of my road trip in October 2017.

High Pointe Inn has dedicated on-site parking according to your room number, so no need to worry about parking.

High Pointe Inn is roughly 7 miles from Hyannis (recommended), 8 miles to Sandwich (quaint) and 52 miles to Provincetown (over rated).

Check -in was quick and efficient. Rich then gave a guided tour of the house and showed my booked Deluxe Ocean-View room.

The room was very spacious and had virtually everything you need for a comfortable stay. There was a beautiful comfy four poster bed with quality bedding, a writing bureau (which even had 2 pre-stamped postcards for you to use), a seated area so you can look out and admire the fantastic views and a large 32 2 flat screen cable TV and DVD player. There are also complimentary bath robes to use during your stay, a fridge with complimentary bottles of water (replaced daily), an ice bucket, glasses and a corkscrew (they think of everything). The room also has individual heating and cooling controls.

The bathroom is also spacious and well stocked (although be careful of the low ceiling by the toilet). There’s a rain effect shower (pressure was excellent and water stayed hot throughout), his and hers wall mirrors, cotton buds, complimentary Gilchrist & Soames toiletries, a hairdryer and even a dark face cloth for the ladies to remove their make up to save staining the clean white towels (clever idea) plus a designer sink.

Breakfast each morning is freshly made by Rich. Every day there was a specials board along with standard items on the printed menu. Another nice touch is that you all sat at the table together, so you got the chance to talk to the other guests. The breakfast on both days was delicious. Serving times are strict though so be warned.

High Pointe Inn also has a guest lounge area where you can help yourself to a glass of port (plus a selection of board games). There’s a PC and printer to surf the internet or print your boarding pass (the internet speed was quick). There is free Wi-Fi throughout the house and again it was quick and had a good signal strength.

A really lovely touch is that Debbie had put together a folder in the room which had everything you needed to know about Cape Cod, from restaurants to eat in, things to avoid, sightseeing off the beaten track and roads to avoid (to name but a few), this I highly recommend you read as it was very useful and informative.

If I had to list one thing that was missing, it would be that there was no safe in the room. I didn’t really like leaving my documents, passport and money in the room unsecured, Maybe this is something Debbie and Rich could consider if it was feasible? Also maybe start breakfast slightly earlier at 8am so you can get out and about earlier (it's just a thought).

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Debbie and Rich they made you feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. High Pointe Inn is spotlessly clean throughout and you can see that they take great pride in their business/home.

Highly recommended. 9/10.

Thank you so much for your comprehensive review and thoughtful suggestions. We do offer a breakfast bag to go for early risers and of course coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day. We will look into the in-room safe idea, though there is usually someone in house (housekeeper, me and/or my husband) virtually all day.
