CHF is a jewel in the town of Southborough. It is a professionally managed farm and Desiree does a phenomenal job (even when Mother Nature makes it extremely difficult). There are meet the farmer events monthly that are creative and engaging. There is a CSA and a farm stand where we can purchase locally grown produce-such a blessing! Additionally, there are hiking, snow shoeing and skiing trails so that we can enjoy the lovely setting year round. Animal husbandry is also part of the farm, chickens (eggs for sale), goats & cows) are all in residence. Desiree clearly cares about her calling and is such a fascinating woman with which to speak. We are SO very fortunate to have her in our town and bringing this farm back to a working farm. Her blogs are eagerly anticipated and make one truly feel part of the process. The Harvest Festival Farm dinner was great fun and we look forward to attending many more. Do yourself a favor a visit CHF, you will be glad you did, and you will quickly become a regular!

This has become one of my favorite hiking or snow shoeing spots, a beautiful meadow overlooking farmland with woodland trails to explore in several directions. Feels miles away!

A great place right off Main Street in Southborough for the freshest of vegetables and herbs. They also contribute to the Southborough Food Pantry and support local organizations.

This is a working farm and town recreation area. You can now buy farm shares, and support local farmers, and get lots of produce. Across the street is the Beals Preserve, which offers beautiful walking...and allows dogs.

A relatively new property under the management of The Trustees of Reservations (TTOR), this historic farm has been largely preserved and is a working farm today. Great fancy goats! Nice open fields to enjoy. It is unfortunate that the surrounding land has been developed so much, but you can enjoy what is left. No dog walking, unfortunately. A real asset for those who live in the area.
