Don't go. Horrible food. Waste of money and time. Should've known when we walked in at 6:00 and no one was in restaurant. Uggh

Wonderful, the new cook, (I heard that the owner brought from Italy) is working miracles in this restaurant, I was uncompromised last week and was surprised by a perfect spinach salad, a special pasta with a tasty sauce all on a plate decorated with love , very tasty and beautiful. I went back this week and had a wonderful experience tasting a panini. seems that Italian cuisine from the old Amelia's reborn. Congratulations to Chef, I hope it continues

Amelia's is cute but uninspired. You can do better. Their pastas just don't hit the mark with flavor or originality. Pricey for what you get.

Went with a group of 6 this past weekend after making a reservation. Two waiters were running around trying to serve everyone while the owner stood behind the counter doing nothing. We had to ask repeatedly just for glasses of water,it was very difficult to get the attention of the wait staff even when the place started to empty out. A waiter was telling people it was his last night because he had been fired. The pasta dishes were OK, ravioli not fully cooked, small portions. The bread was very good, freshly baked out of the oven and served with olive oil and balsamic that was never re-filled. All in all, best avoided.

Looking for Italian. Try Amelia's Kitchen in Somerville. Wonderful staff, helpful and accommodating.
Nice atmosphere and satisfying meals. Prices are reasonable, street parking available. Had the Chicken Marsala ( Pan seared chicken or veal with wild mushrooms,
imported prosciutto, fresh sage in a marsala wine sauce ) & Gnocchi Fresco (House made potato dumplings tossed in a fresh plum tomato and basil sauce hard baked with fresh mozzarella) which we would order again.

Stop by.
