If you're in Scituate, your trip is t complete until
you have a bowl of NE Clam Chowder from Satuit Tavern! Their entrees are huge and the seafood is fresh--also plenty of non-seafood options. The wait staff is lovely and the only thing I can think would make this place any better is if it were overlooking the harbor. Luckily they are right across the street. An excellent value!

Came here on my last night visiting friends in the area, 5 kids and 3 adults. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, waited about 10 minutes for a table in the main dining area.
Kids menu- grilled cheese and chicken fingers were chosen by the little ones, served with fries and onion rings.

Adults- shared a bowl of clam chowder as I hadn't had one this trip. It is the thicker atyle, but so creamy and filled with clams and potatoes. I ordered the 1/2 and 1/2 scallops and clams served with fries and onion rings. It was so good, I like the clam bellies, not strips. I've never had fried scallops before and, they were very good. Haven't had proper onion rings in years and, these were light and delicious.

Friend had Scrod other friend had Fish sandwich. She gets that frequently as take out and likes it slot.

Portions are big, but so good. Service was attentive, friendly and prompt. So glad my friend brought us here, look forward to next year.

Highly recommended this restaurant for authentic New England Seafood and Service. Felt like family.

lobster roll was decent, but the squash vegetable (in maple syrup) of the day was superb! Steamers were fat and clean! Great service.

I had my usual, the broiled seafood platter consisting of scrod, shrimp, scallops, and sole, as always a delicious meal.. My wife had a lobster salad roll. She said it was very tasty. Prices were very reasonable.
