“Beautiful and Cozy”
Reviewed 17 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

A very well appointed rental within easy walking distance to harbor. Historic area with beautiful landscaping. Many great seafood restaurants and ocean views are minutes away by foot.

“Wonderful Respite”
Reviewed 28 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

My wife & I spent a week here from June 17th to June 24th 2015. We were very, very pleased with everything that was here at Periwinkle # 2. Everything that was shown and described was exactly was we found. Rose was the most helpful and kind host we could expect. She had everything on hand and we had need for nothing on the basics. We would recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for a nice, clean, quiet place to spend a couple of days or more. It was always so nice to come back to after a long day of being out site seeing or hiking about. Thank you, Rose, for a wonderful experience and wish you the best. Hopefully, we will cross paths again in the future.
Regards,
Paul & Kathleen
Keene, NH

“Our home in Rockport for 5 nights”
Reviewed 5 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Rose has created a very cozy little home away! Periwinkle cottage had so many "little' things that made you feel at home; bathrobes, night lights, tea bags and coffee, candy, cookies, cream in the fridge, soft lap blankets, quality clothes hangers... We so enjoyed our stay, loved Rockport and Gloucester, all the coves, the friendly people, farmers market, breakfast at the Red Skiff, museums, the walkway at the Fishermans Memorial and all the folks with their dogs, the fabulous lobster rolls at the Gloucester House, the schooner music fest trip on the Thomas Lannon...just so many wonderful excursions. Even got in the water at Plum Cove! This is a precious place to come home to!

“Wonderfully comfortable, relaxing home-from-home in Rockport”
Reviewed 11 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We had a wonderful time staying at Periwinkle Cottage. Rosemarie was excellent in her communication before our stay, and also with the really clear and helpful info in the cottage. We found the cottage so comfortable and with everything we could possible need - extremely well equipped and beautifully decorated. We slept very soundly in the super-comfortable bed, and appreciated being able to do all our washing and drying in the laundry room after a week travelling. The cottage is in a lovely, quiet setting, but an easy walk from the Main Street, beaches and stores. And breakfast at the Red Skiff is a must! Would definitely recommend, and would stay here again if we travelled back to the area. Thank you!
