“Mixed feelings about this hotel experience”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2012

We booked our stay at this hotel, specifically because it calls itself "pet friendly". Well, it's not that pet friendly. We got to the room and our doggy did not even have a water bowl. We had to improvise. Then the first day we arrived, the room was not ready until 4 pm yet, the check-in time was supposed to be 3 pm. The next day, I went to the lobby (in the main house) and I was questioned by someone in the front desk as to whether I was a guest, continuing to tell me in a very dry manner that I could not have my dog there or anywhere else in the property. Would I stay there again? Certainly not. You are either pet friendly or not.

Room Tip: Beware that this is NOT a pet friendly place.

As well advertised on the web site we have one pet friendly room. We do our best to accommodate people traveling with pets and at the same time need to be mindful of all the other guests that are not traveling with pets or are afraid or allergic to animals. The Pet Friendly room has easy access on and off the property and has finishes that are easy to clean and sanitize between stays.

I have visited this Inn twice (2007 and 2010) and it is terrific! Both times we went during off season and really enjoyed P town in its quiet! The rooms were fabluous and pretty! The massage was nice, the food was amazing and the weather was fine.

The streets are quiet, the staff less busy - and you can see Provincetown

Room Tip: Great wine selections!

We stayed three nights at this jewel in Provincetown. You can walk everywhere so no need for a car. The rooms are roomy and comfy. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. There are opportunities to socialize if you choose or use your stay as a rejuvinating retreat. Hot cooked to order yummy breakfasts included as is wine, beer, cheese and crackers in the afternoons out by the pool on nice days.. Oh, cookies and other treats as well. The gardens and fountains are peaceful and soothing if you're looking for a relaxing retreat. You can enjoy the hot tub and pool outdoors in lovely setting. You can use the sauna, steam, and mineral bath if you like or you can schedule any number of spa treatments. We didn't have dinner at the hotel although the menu looked great so we are planning on returning and will add that to our Crowne Point experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with things to do in the area. Prices are VERY reasonable for what you get when staying here. Wonderful complimentary breakfast with chefs on site to make your meal fresh. They also have a complimentary wine and cheese hour, which is nice to meet some of the other guests. I strongly recommend going to the spa; for free you can take a dip in the mineral tub, steam room or sauna and they also have a selection of massages/manis/facials (for a reasonable price). The outdoor pool and hot tub are open 24 hours a day. Great spot and very interesting history. Very close walk to many restaurants on Commercial Street which is the heart of the town.

Room Tip: All the rooms are different, so check with the front desk based on your needs. They have 1 room that...
