“Don't Miss This!”
Reviewed 5 March 2012

Having been on whale watches in Cape May, NJ I wasn't too excited when family suggested this during our summer vacation in Wellfleet, but went along anyway. This is not your NJ whale watch! Beautiful scenery, passing four lighthouses and the towns of lower Cape Cod. Our guide was very knowledgeable and animated. Best of all, we saw five or six groups of rightwales who came right up to the boat. This trip was well worth the money.

“OK for a crowded, commercial watch cruise”
Reviewed 18 February 2012

A good boat, knowledgeable crew, crowded in season, about what you'd expect with nothing added to move it above average.

“Good value trip.”
Reviewed 13 February 2012

Enjoyed the interesting commentary about the whales, the Captain went out of his way to find us a whale ,and eventually it paid off as we got very close to two .Sadly we couldn't stay long as we had run out of time and needed to get back.Luckily we saw a few Minke whales on our return trip ,very close to the shore.Wish I could return when more whales are around,at a different time of year.Luck of the draw.We were given a discount as we had stayed in Provincetown.Sit nearer the front,I would have liked the doors closed at the back, as noisy engines made it hard to hear the commentary, and it was cool, but there was lots of room to move about.

“Marvelous Experience!”
Reviewed 7 February 2012

This whale watch, which we have been on three times in the past five years, is usually marvelous. On our August 2011 trip, it was a gorgeous day and we saw a variety of whales. The boat can get crowded, so I strongly recommend that you book your trip for mid-week in the summer. Bring a sweatshirt even on a warm day, because the temps can be 10-degrees less on the water than on the land.

“Much Fun & they always find "sites" when we go”
Reviewed 20 January 2012

Love this adventure! . . . The Center for Costal Studies was working with them when we went on the 1st few times & they do a great educational talk the whole ride out to the spots that the Dolf Fleet *always* have spottings when we have been on their boats. The ships feature 2 decks with plenty of space to move around (if you pick the right time!) and offer food & bar drinks (and a severely limited "beer" selection - possibly my only complaint, Bud or Coors - with the "lite" versions if i recall is it! I mean can't they get some Sam Addams - it's from MA for pete's sake! LOL!) . . . Well worth it especially if like me you just like to ride on a boat for a while -- the WHALES are just icing on the cake!
