I can not begin to tell you how much I love the Inn... The atmosphere is amazing, the food is superb, the staff are friendly, and the Inn keepers truly take pride in every detail and function. I would HIGHLY recommend the Inn for a romantic get away, function, or a dinner out with friends. You will be so pleased, you will
wish you had found this hidden gem sooner!!

You be the judge! After all it is what you like that matters. I can only be a guide to what it is that I find impeccable---First--FRESHNESS--no pre-prepped wilted and soggy food to be found here! Second --food arrives at your table at the optimum flavor temperature.
Soups and baked goods piping hot and mouth-watering. Main courses pleasingly hot.
Cool crisp fresh fruit and expertly dressed cool salads. Third-appetizing visual presentations. which are as good to look at as to eat--no sloppy conglomerations to be
had. Fourth-personal attention to your dining wishes--the number of patrons are limited to the amount which can be served to the above excellent standards--nor are you rushed.
Staff clears away plates un-obtrusively as they are used--always leaving sufficient room
to eat and always asking if it is ok to remove the plate. Ambience and service is first class.
Fifth --course selections and amounts--wisely selected meat, vegetable or fish courses.
Wine and beer easily paired for complete dining satisfaction. You will not be served
"teaser" plate amounts found in some so-called fine restaurants.
I have not commented on the dining experience at Clamber Hill until I have had the direct experience of ten meals. All ten were impeccable. Sixth--value---you WILL NOT
find better value , Do not miss the chance to experience a culinary fest.. Clamber Hill
is a true gem. lmceache@mtholyoke.edu

While the Inn is lovely, the restaurant is terrible. Faux elegant food at elegant food prices. We left angry and insulted. It's perfectly ok to charge premium prices for excellent food, but everything we ate was of mediocre quality at best. It's all about integrity. No wonder the restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday night! Simple formula : provide a quality product at a fair price and customers will come. We live nearby, but we won't be back.

We did not stay here and the home is really lovely. However, beware the food. They advertise as having a fine dining restaurant, but this was the worst dining experience we have ever had. Be forewarned -- none of us could eat the entre (trying beef and two types of fish) and for the price, almost $150 for four, the experience was horrible. With such a lovely home in a country setting, it is surprising that they would serve this food -- better not to have dining as an option.
