Hidden gem in Central MA. Terrific setting for a small group and plenty of private space as well. Excellent dining particularly if this is your local base for your visit.

This B&B was a pleasant surprise. It is located in a forested area that surrounds the 90+ year old house. Mark and Denis Ellis certainly kept this place well since they started in 1997. Rooms are clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated exuding warmth and comfort.
Quiet is one of the great pluses of this place. The surrounds and the way of the people here makes you feel relaxed.
Breakfast made daily by Mark is delicious and fresh every morning. His scones and muffins are delightful. The maple syrup is amazing - local from the area. I loved the Irish sausages that they serve.
This is certainly a place that I would visit again as it would certainly look great in summer and autumn with all the trees and shrubs that are just coming out of the winter cold.

We visited this B and B just for dinner. We were the only one there that night - so maybe a little TOO hidden. The house is GORGEOUS but the food was so-so. We only visited once and will likely not visit again, but it is something new to try if you are in the area.

There is nothing to dislike. Everything was thumbs up. Food, service, rooms, and the hiking trails were all spectacular.
