My wife and I tried the Knack restaurant for a quick bite to eat on our outing to the Orleans/Eastham area. Overall the food was very good and we would try going again. They have a variety of items including burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, fried fish sandwich, fries, milkshakes, and soft serve ice cream I had the Lobster Roll which was very good with moist, lobster meet on a hot dog style bun. Mine was not the largest lobster roll I have had on Cape Cod, but it was very good. My wife's fish taco, which I tasted was nicely seasoned and tasted good, but some of the small pieces of fish in the sandwich were overcooked. My wife said the ice tea was like home made, very good.
Please be aware that all the seating is outdoors, in a covered patio type area. So if it is very hot day, it is something to keep in mind. The service at the counter was fast and friendly. They give you a buzzer device when you order, and then you pick up the food at a separate window from where you order. The prices are reasonable, though more expensive than fast food. We spent $32 on the two of us for our lunch. The restaurant has a small parking lot right at the restaurant, and a larger parking area behind. It is right on Route 6A, very close to the Orleans rotary, so it is a busy area. I read on their website that they give 10 percent of their dessert sales to charities, which is a nice gesture on the management's part.
If you are in Orleans and want casual dining, check out the Knack.
