We love this cafe! Period. Cool ambiance and good selection of snacks, sandwiches, salads and beverages for a small cafe. It gets crowded during meal times, but it is a great place to stop by and relax.

This little cafe at the top of the deCordova museum fills an important role. Their good menu selection is especially welcome as the location in suburban Lincoln does not offer many alternatives. The cafe permits you to spend more time at the museum and sculpture garden rather than being driven to leave by hunger. Late in the day the stocks tend to run low, but the welcome is always excellent.

During a visit to the museum and grounds, a quick bite was needed. The server at the cafe was pleasant and helpful. For my friend, she made a wicked latte. I had some oriental style noodles (from Via Lago)which she offered to warm for me. She chatted with us a little and was very welcoming. Like the rest of the museum, the cafe was well-lit naturally and comfortable.

This is a spot to stop. The cheese and fruit plate was plenty big for my daughter and I to share and it was tasty, too! The price was actually less than I would expect at a museum cafe.

We visited early afternoon right after lunch and they had already run out of food for the kids' menu.
