We were on my way home from a long trip and needed to stop for lunch. The UNO Chicago Grill was right on my way home. So glad we stopped. I got the fish & chips and my husband got the salmon. Everything was hot and delish! The restaurant is very clean and the waitress was extremely nice. We will be going back again.

Arrived hungry just after 6:00 with a 15 minute wait, not bad. Once seated our waitress arrived (very sweet young lady) took our drink order came back about 10 min. later apologized the bar was backed up and offered us waters. Our drinks arrived after another 10 minutes with more apologies, The bar was under staffed and the drinks were weak. After several more apologies and the excuse that the kitchen was also under staffed our dinners arrived. My mother asked what was wrong and that others that arrived after us were being served yet we still waited. We were told the kitchen was backed up and there were tickets lined up everywhere and the kitchen was in shambles. Over 1 1/2 hrs had elapsed from when we sat till dinner arrived. My wife had the Roasted Eggplant, Spinach, and Feta Flatbread App as an entree which she enjoyed and was good. My mother had the baked Haddock which was bland and dry hardly ate any of it. I had the Meat-lovers Deep-dish personal Pizza which was OK but just above warm, must have sat for while. Our server was as gracious as she could be and offered she would see what she could do for us on our bill since we were so patient with the situation. That didn't materialize, we paid full price with more apologies. Not a good night. Through our over 2 hr visit we also witnessed lack of staff training on cleaning. At the servers station in the dining room they have a bucket on top of the station from which servers grab a rag from inside the bucket and wash tables and seats, then the rag goes back in the bucket. In over 2 hrs of watching them wash tables and seats the bucket never was refreshed with clean water. They shouldn't be cleaning the tables and seats out of the same bucket. Gross. We won't be rushing back. That poor waitress almost seemed embarrassed to what seemed no fault of her own.

Went there on a Saturday night. Thank goodness the rowdy loud children left soon after we were seated. Good deal on the 2 items for $12.99 is the best with deep dish traditional Chicago style pizza

We eat out a lot, I'm embarrassed to even admit how often. We have visited this particular Unos location probably a dozen times in the last year and the last two visits have been horrible. First, the restaurant has been understaffed both times, with many tables empty, but about a 20-30 minute wait to be seated. Then once seated, the waiting continues. 20 minutes to get drinks (and only get it after you remind the waitress...) over an hour to get a burger. Note to the owner or manager, make sure you have adequate staff, especially on a holiday when you know people will be more likely to eat out.

Driving home from NH we stopped off rte 2 and went to UNOs. Didn't have high expectations being UNOs and all. This family casual chain is known for a pretty good menu but lousy service and UNOs did not disappoint. Our visit was a real good one for the food and a typical one for very bad service. Our server Amber disappeared numerous times and no one was around to help us nor wanted to. Never saw a manager. We had to wait 30 minutes to just pay the bill. I had to remind her for the beer that never got served. Too bad. This is not a difficult job. Just be attentive and stop being invisible. A little teamwork wouldn't hurt either. But this is on the management. Just gog through the motions. Poorly run.
