I frequently hike up here. Do be careful during hunting season. Nice view at the top and then you can add more if you go along the ridge.

Cycled up it and then back down. A good ride on some fine pavement. Cars were very courteous. It works.

We love hiking these trails - which can be hiked at any time of the year. Sometimes we start over at Kennedy Park (Arcadian Shop) and other times at Pleasant Valley Sanctuary. There is a stunning view at the summit (fire tower). Its perfect for leaf-peepers, snowshoers, cross country skiers, or general hikers. There is a lovely apple orchard (Bartlett's) below the summit. Trails are clearly marked and range from easy to challenging. Definitely worth checking out.

Important: NO DOGS ALLOWED on the Pleasant Valley trails. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed at Kennedy Park. Both areas are worth checking out.

Mass Audubon provides access to Lenox Mountain as part of its Pleasant Valley facility. The trails include walks around several ponds inhabited by beavers. Everything is very well maintained and marked, sutiable for visitors of all ages and abilities. Proceeding uphill, one begins the climb up about 800 feet vertical to the top of Lenox Mountain. The trail is very manageable, but certainly not trivial. Much of the Overbrook trail follows the course of a stream, which makes it very pleasant to hike along. It took us about an hour to get to the top, from which there are fine views looking west and north.
